Thanks Doug, that should get me where I need to be. 😀

Spring is 72392.

You don’t want your hammer any longer then 2″ from where the spring is to the face.

When setup right anything over PW 4 is to much and reduces power… Easy to dial in a curve and get max power around 4.

The hammer is light at 105 grams. I have a 117 gram hammer. When I use it the fps goes up, but my groups start to open up as well. I used your hammer spring that came with the valve on one of the last Airarcher kits I made and sent out a long time ago.

I noticed with the longer/heavier hammer and hammer spring the valve is being pushed on pretty good when the guns not cocked so I’m thinking that might be causing some bounce and affecting accuracy since its a nail driver with shorter/lighter hammer.

I assume you get your H springs from Century. Could you give me the stock # of the correct one?

The right hammer spring might make the difference with 117gram hammer. If I remember right that spring was a little shorter than 4”?

Your running the 13 lb hammer spring that came with the valve? Looks like you have a TT hammer. You need 115-120 gram hammer to make the valve work. You should be right at 1000 fps with that valve.

No, not looking to build any of these for sale. All the parts are listed at the top if anyone wants to give it a go. Here is a link for the long rails

Over all I’m very happy with the way it turned out, However its not shooting as fast as I would like. Its in the currently in the low 900s. I’m thinking about hollow pointing my 257420 mold to try and pick up some more speed.
Anyone else done this? If so do you how much fps I would gain and if there would be any negative affects on accuracy?

Wow! In .257 too?!
Not too shabby I suppose…….
Oh fuck! Not too shabby at all! That is fine as fuck and its 257!
Congratz!
