Q:

Fx 400 with baracuda pellets

Hey guys I know the jsb 16 and 18grs are the preferred pellets for the FX400 but have you guys been able to get any tight groups with the 21grn baracudas out to 50yrds? Also, with your testing, what max ftps were yu able to tune your rifles to before the 18grn jsbs start to spread . Thanks in advance

My barrel only likes JSB 15.9 and 18.1 gr. Strange that it could differ so much =)

Yes, it has smooth twist barrel.

Thanks for the reply. Are the polymags any good in those ST barrels?

Stuntr1,

I did not have much luck in my 400 st with cuda’s.

I have been up to 945 with the 18.1 grainers an settled for 905 FPS, which was what my rifle came at.

It is phenominal with the 18.1 grain JSB’s at that velocity.
