Q:

FX BOBCAT 22 CAL

I need some help from all 22 cal bobcat owners ,I cant find any reviews on line about this gun , except from Teds , I’m asking a honest Good Bad Or Ugly Opinion . I like a lot about this gun, but something is holding me back, How come all the Bobcat owners are as quite as a church mouse. Come on and Share your experience with this gun. thanks

Some folks on this forum think our friend Ted from Wisconsin may have gotten a hand picked Bobcat, from FX but that would be hard to prove, but then if I was going to get a new model air gun out to the general public where else could you get the exposure than having Ted giving it a review , That is where I would go. The only thing I cant understand is how come Ted didn’t test it out to 100 yards, that is strange indeed.

Thanks guys, much appreciated

Friends don’t let friends drive Bobcats? 😉 Let’s see what kind of a walnut stock Minelli can carve out for a .22 Bobcat and we may just have something there at 29″ with the improved muffler.

I had a .30 with the old stock. The things that I didn’t like was.

It was heavy.
The stock was an abortion IMO.
The pressure gauge wasn’t lined up in the window.

Other than that I couldn’t really bitch

The gun shot flawlessly and has the best trigger of all bull pups
The guns accuracy was amazing.

I would imagine that the new stock would better but it’s still heavy

I will buy another if and when they come in walnut

The fx platform is pretty solid. I’ve owned the royale 500 also.
They make a good solid accurate open the box and shoot type of gun .

I like to use the scooter analogy. They are fun to ride but you don’t want to be caught by your friends riding it. I am messing with you Vise, I like them too but still waiting to see what they do with Version 3.

My money is on:
A – Weaver scope rail
B – Wooden stock

I can share the Ugly – and with the Bobcat there´s lots of it. I can share the Good too , the trigger and the accuracy. I don´t own one though but i know few who does so i´ve shot with one. The Bad would be , beside its obvious Ugliness , it lacks Weaver/Picatinny scope rail and the rail under the forestock is a joke.
