What does “very windy” stand for ’20 mph gust’ or ‘1 mph gust’? Im going to assume the latter of the two. LOL
Hey Renval, I just didn’t pick it up then because i just moved and had a lot on my plate, but she is on her way, AOA called again this month and i couldn’t say no. Going to pull the stuff off my Tactic and shoot the impact for the next month and see what i can do. My home range is out to 95 yards. I checked out Teds new video with that new MTC Pro scope and its very nice (don’t know if its 650.00 dollars nice).
You type it Into the program manually. You pics had the distance in the title. It’s a Free version so you can try it yourself
You could have returned it or sold it, if you didn’t like it, the few Impacts I have seen on the classifieds didn’t last too long.
you guys are making me wish i didn’t pass up my Impact when AOA called me last week, Damn.
That is an awesome program! How were you or the program able to figure out the distances?
Cricket would you please measure a few groups for me with that program?
Italian and Spanish, learning some Portuguese now! :biggrinn:
Measure your groups properly next time. Even better, use “On Target” can be found here:

Your groups will look like this:

No pellet spiral here. The wind was just flat out getting it this day I can see where you might think the pellet spiraled but I’ll a sure you there not. My hundred yard group is 1 inch sometimes less. My berral is not polished this is right outta the box. Why so many hatters just don’t get it just trying to prove my guns potential. When I’m challenged ill accept it and win. Gonna do some long range shooting over the weekend if not super windy like it’s been but hope to have to footage for you all soon.
That’s good shooting, some pellets were spiraling but were hitting ok. At longer ranges these spiraling pellets turnout to be flyers.
Oh cool! English is my second language, Swedish my first. What’s your first language? (If you feel like sharing) Always assumed it was because your profile says SoCal
No isn’t, is my 3th language :biggrinn: i guess we are talking about two different things here then

Ok boys and girls, I am now an Impact owner and my first impression is the gun is complicated: pellet selection, pellet speed, regulator adjustments, etc. I’ve put 200 rounds thru her today aimlessly trying to find the best pellet then i put her on the chrony and got some direction. Tomorrow i will be testing Kings @ 900 FPS, MK1’s and MK2’s at @ 822 and 795 FPS and see who groups the best at 50, 75, and 95 yards. Then maybe i will play with the speed on the winner. Some things i’ve found out, first to me the .25 cal is pretty loud, second my regulator gage is of by 30 bar it reads 120 and is really 150 bar according to my omega 4500 psi tank and gage. Third my fill gage is off 30 bar as well, it reads 250 and my tank has it at 220, none of this is a big deal now that i know what to expect i’m cool with it. Fourth i had to adjust my power wheel which was pretty easy. Lastly i tried to take my barrel off to clean it and couldn’t get it off……it rotates clockwise and counter clockwise a little bit with the set screw all the way removed but i can’t pull it out, it almost looks like the set screw may have been set too hard and flared out the hole or something don’t know. Not a big deal right now because my patch worms have no issue cleaning the barrel with it installed and i don’t have any other barrels but will call AOA next year to let them know. I could put it really hard and make it come out but not ready to do that yet. Did do a barrel inspection and it looks good as far as i can tell. I did get 1 inch groups at 75 yards with the kings right out of the box. Let the good times begin.<a href="
