FX Impact full set barrels and new fill port
i’ve had Impacts since they were first made available in December. Finally received my .177 barrels and also some black Impacts with the new fill port making grip of the adapter a little easier. The Silver one’s received did not have this.

It is good to see that FX is making improvements to the Impact. Has anyone heard from FX why the end of the barrel was made from brass?
I guess you haven had the chance to shoot your .22 cal yet, to many calibers! :rofl:

So they can charge you more money for a wear and tear item? Or maybe they were afraid to ruin a barrel blank by not properly aligning the transfer port with the set screw? Having a screw in brass piece allows for a slight margin of error manufacturing wise. Or a simple answer is for idiots who accidentally drop their barrels and damage the breech end.
I think they should have kept it simple and done without the brass piece if the barrel is held in place by set screws. Were they worried the pellet probe would wear out or something?
