I don’t get why everyone needs to know the settings he used?

The gun has all the adjustments on the exterior that anyone can use. It’s not as if it needs stripping down and fettling.

Learn to use the settings and tweak away!

Even if Ted put photos of exact positions of every adjuster and measured them with a vernier you wouldn’t be able to replicate it on another gun exactly due to differing tolerances and or spring inconsistencies.

Just makes me laugh really.

It may be that he uses the special pre formed reverse rifled pellets that try and counter the ST corkscrew effect? (hehe)

I do not think Ted’s tricks (that he mentioned in his video) has to do only with settings of external dials and screws on the FX Impact. That’s a bit simplistics to think…since you can train a monkey to do that. At the same time I rather not attach mythical powers to his otherwise “best in world” performance.

what he is not telling is hes got a CZ barrel fitted to it

as he used to say, when ALL the planets align, you get a good one
i think it is about symmetry, if it does not deform the pellet perfectly symmetrically, it will spiral.

Congrats to Ted!

What was the distance, 100 yards?

I believed the ST barrels are no good for long range.

(Probably I was wrong  )

I think I have read something like that too somewhere. Someone made actual field testing, comparing LW, CZ and ST barrels out to range.

I forgot where I have seen that report…

Congrats to Ted!

Congrats…so Ted really can shoot! 🙂 And yes, he promised in one of his videos to reveal some of his “tricks” with the Impact or for general long range shooting.

So now he can share his tuning tips for the Impact, will be interesting. And congrats!
