FX Laminate Stock Quality!
So I ordered a Wildcat with the laminate stock from AD.The first on came in with this streak in it.So I send it back thinking they would actually send me another with better quality.
Top pic is the first one.
So today I get my second Wildcat and open the box to once again see a really piss poor laminate stock, just as bad as the first one.
So what do you think…send it back?
Not impressed with these stocks, hopefully I can save someone else the aggravation. Do yourself a favor and pass on the extra cost of a laminate stock.Unless your lucky at the lottery!

I got a Streamline laminate stock from AofA which had a couple of blonde streaks in it just like yours. They disappeared in 30 seconds with a black Sharpie pen. A Sharpie cures a world of ills on scratches in blued metal parts as well as the black pepper laminate. I’ve shown my Streamline to a lot of guys at my club and they really like it. No one has a clue about the minor touch up spots. It is hard for me to tell where it was touched up. I’m anal retentive myself but I didn’t over react to the stock flaws. It’s an easy repair and not worth getting upset over. If I had anything I’d like to see done better on the Streamline it’s the degree of polish on the barrel and air tube could be done to a finer finish. In bright sunlight there is a spiral swirl that wouldn’t be there if it was polished as it should be. Not befitting a $1200 air rifle.
