It’s a shame that they came so close to to a Ambi stock and did’nt do it.

I can’t use it at all left handed, which is how I shoot most of the time.

I have shot the Royale and didn’t really care for it. The mod helps, but it
is not really quiet unless you get the add on moderator like Varminter
said (but that makes it very long). I also did not like how it shouldered, but everybody will have a different hold. It has alot of good points for sure, guess you will have to try it to be sure if it is for you.

If you could spend the extra money I would also get the MCT but it is a different beast. It’s seems to be the best of the best but it’s not for everyone. It’s not cheap to fix if something should go wrong after the warranty period and it’s heavy but those are the only negative things I can think of. It’s supposed to be crazy accurate and crazy efficient and it also won’t have the typical loud mechanical noise you hear like the hammer slap…ect. Imagine how quiet an MCT would be if it had a good moderator on the end of it. I will someday own an MCT!

I do recently have experience with the FX Royale 400. I just got one from trading a few things with someone else and it is a great rifle. It also came with an adaptor and an add-on moderator! I shot it for the first time last night and it is very accurate. It is also stupid quiet with the additional 7″ moderator!!! It’s rated at 36 FPE so another plus. It’s very light weight and the side lever is oh so easy and smooth to cock. I also love that it has a 12 round magazine which is easy and quick to load. I have the walnut stock and it’s not my favorite looking air rifle but it is very well made, well thought out, and a great shooter. I love how it has a recessed foster fitting so you can just quickly fill up by attaching the female quick connect, and the pressure gauge on the bottom of the stock is another nice feature. If you want a simple to disassemble and reassemble, lightweight and accurate muti-shot, this could be the one for you. I will post results once I get a chance to chrony it and shoot outside. I will also post a pic soon. Hey if I sold my BSA SuperTEN and the FX Royale 400, I’d be able to get the MCT! I might do this later on but for now I will shot them as much as I can and get to know them a little better. 😀

I’ve got the Royale in 22cal. Very nice gun, excellent wood, accurate, quiet and lightweight. I like it…..but NOT as much as my air wold MCTs !!

Later

Nice guns, and accurate, Shot count needs a little work. Factory installed moderator is quite, or so I am told.

Spend a few extra bucks and get the Air Wolf MCT! 😯 😉
