Q:

FX T-12 Whisper

Can anyone give me some insight into this gun. I’m thinking about getting a new pcp and this one caught my eye. I was wondering about reliability accuracy etc. So if anyone has any experience with one your review would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have both an FX T12 typhoon walnut and Monsoon – both in 22. I’ve owned the rifles for over 1 year and have had no issues with reliability. My experience is that folks want to shot then after the 3rd clip (36 shots) when the rifle is out of air to function correctly. Check out the FXowner club site.. Lots of good info.

I’ll be banned from this site for saying this, but after a few brews…
I’ve had more joy shooting my FX’s than the Condor and TSS I’ve owned.

Thanks for the feedback…I’ll probably be looking at the Air Arms brand now…reliability is the one thing I was looking for.

The things I hear are the same and I have shot one. It’s a nice gun and it’s quiet with one problem is that it can be pressure sensitive. Just a litle too much press. and it has a hard time cycling.

I’ve heard the same over here in the UK.They do not sell in significant numbers due to reliability issues.
Theoben Rapids and Daystates are the multi shot air rifles with the best reputations,I should know because I have both types.

2nd hand information from a very reliable source….

Accuracy and quietness is awesome. Reliability in question. The guy who I know with one sold it due to reliability issues. I’ve heard good and bad on them.

Again…. no direct experience.
