Gamo Pellets…

ot a bunch of Gamo pellets on the classifieds for cheap. They arrived yesterday so today I grabbed my AirArms MPR FT and tried them out at 15 yards. I thought my gun was broken. I ran a few Kodiaks through it to find it was one holing them… went back to the Gamo pellets… holy hell.
I could stick a hand full of <i>ANY</i> other pellets up my arse and FART them out on paper into a better group than these POS Gamo pellets did.
I tried with an R7 and a TX200 just to make sure…. same results.
Figured there was a reason they were cheap on the Classifieds… I dont blame the seller. He packed them well and shipped them quickly… but when I get rid of these, I will make sure that who ever gets them knows how they perform.
Here is an ad for the pellets…. “Extreme Accuracy”???
…and here is that “Extreme Accuracy” on paper at a mere 15 yards.

When I first started shooting I tried those Daisy “Precision Max” wads myself, because they were so cheap and could get them at Walmart. Horrible. And the ones I shot looked to be in good condition, so I didn’t bother with the ones that looked like this… which were about 35% of them. Here’s a pic of the skirt of one.
Thx for the heads up Rob. I’m just wondering how the heck Gamo can get away with selling such pellets that seem to work for almost no one.

WOW! I just sold some here becuase they didn’t work well in my guns. The fit was lose but I was getting better results than that!
Wayne – if your results with those pellets are that bad please feel free to complain to me!!!
I still buy gamo match wads for my 10m shooting. Work in my gun almost as well as wads that are 2-3x the cost. Beyond 10m they are a tad less reliable! I just ordered a .22 and will try the Gamo Hunters (I think that what they are called) and wads in addition to a variety of JSB’s and the normal CP’s.
My bam b 21 loved thoes pellets –shot them at 900 or so—uesd to be able to get 1″ at 20 yards. Not as accurate as a Beeman fts but they did ok for me….177 that is
hell those thing group about as good as the daisy wad cutters I picked up from wally world, those do look cleaner through want to work out a trade ❓ ❓ ❓
I bought some cheapo’s once. Same results you got…Never again…I’ll stick with what works even if they cost more….Lesson learned…I think they shoot more accurate loaded backwards.. 😆
Yer kiddin’. Those are great pellets. You just shot that group at 200 meters and didn’t say so, didn’t you. 😛
Look a lot like kodiaks/jsb type pellets.
Good thing to let everyone know. Thanks for taking one for the team and getting the crappy stuff so no one else has to. 🙂
