Not a problem bro. I started out with springers also but rarely shoot them anymore. I guarentee a condor with the shroud will be quieter than the magnum springer. I was just thinking about that yesterday on the way home too. I have a 350 mag in 22 that has been tuned to the tilt for silky smooth power but it is LOUD. I think it would make a good comparison to turn my condor down the 23 fpe and shoot the same pellet as the 350 and do a sound comparison. Im really wondering if i can get my condor down the the ambient sound levels and what power it would produce at that level. Some people are asking about what shroud to use on a 19 fpe gun. Thats yet another fun part of these guns. 5 minutes of adjusting and its a completely different gun. Different washer under the tophat or changing out the restrictor in the tophat is all it takes.
Stay tuned! Ive got almost 4 days off in a row and the wife is working. Gotta get my penetration videos knocked out also. So far i have punched holes in the wifes old pots and pans out to 30 yds. If weather permits i will go out to 65 if it gos through at 40 and 50. Was also thinking of putting the chrony behind the pan to see if i can catch the velocity after the slug gos through the pan.
This has turned into more of an obsession than a modified bb gun build. :8:
