Q:

Gen2 .177 & Gen4 .25 Vulcans

I’ve been tarting up both my rifles lately, still a few more things I want to change/add.
One on the left is a Gen2 .177 Vulcan with custom 1 off huggett shroud that I made for it, Hawke tac 30 scope with eaglevision infinity one piece mount. The Gen2 still needs a side lever conversion added.
The one on the right is a Gen4 .25 Vulcan with the Huggett magna on, Hawke sidewinder ED scope with the same fully adjustable eaglevision one piece mount and I have already added the side lever conversion. I will be making another huggett shroud for this one aswell when I get a couple more parts. I had to make a custom bipod mount for the Gen4 this week as well due to it having a rail built in under the forend. It’s not a standard size so I had to buy a mount and grind it down a bit. They’re coming along nicely now…

I have a few Huggets, the plastic cylinder actually has two sets of four holes 45 degrees apart to vent air through the mesh.

So first chamber strips a bit of air then two baffled chambers…

I thought there is a plastic cylinder some sort like on this page, must be a different variant then

I think what I read they mean the felt

There isn’t any in the shroud. Go on my Facebook page @pelletpower01 I uploaded a video today fitting it to the gun.
I think I know the bit your referring to and that’s in the standard silencers.

show us the internals if you can Pelletpower. Need to see what is inside the Hugget, if there is no internal bit/section blocking the mesh/ vents. I might even buy one. It can be that my source is just plainly wrong.

I read somewhere that no one tells you: that the white plastic behind the helix/holes is actually blocking the openings.

So the helix is completely a fake thing no real functionality there. It is a bling thing.
the original shroud is very small volume, anything larger/longer added volume with baffles helps

White plastic? I don’t know which part you mean.
I have no white plastic in any of mine. Just aluminium washers, cones, and felt material.

Nice looking rigs.
How do the Huggetts sound?

Cheers, huggetts are much better then the original, at least 10+db quieter hen the standard shroud + they look loads better
