Get The Blue Jay shroud
I installed my shroud from Scott – Get The Blue Jay – today along with my switch over to a 24″ barrel and I must say it is great.
I had my someone else shoot it, as I have done many times with my various packing schemes for my talon ss, while I stand about 15 yards away. I was very quiet.
Thanks Scott, you do a real good job. 😀

How do I get more info on the blue Jay shroud?
LOL, yes some people are kind of touchy about critters bleeding out in there drive ways atc.
it amazes me how quite they can be, my condor only makes a air puff that is noticeable when the gun is turned up quite a bit.
I was shooting my rws 5 g last night latem and it is louder than my condor.
I’m interested in purchasing one, I have a Airhog and it’s not as quiet as I have hoped. How much and what color does it come in?
I have a 22 condor.
BUT….how does it sound when put on an air gun and fired?

PS: How in the world did you sneak up on a squirrel, and get close enough to hit a squirrel in the head with that thing???? You must be very light on your feet.
Hoot,
If I could sneak up on a squirrel and hit him in the head, I wouldn’t need an airgun. as far as sound, it is pretty quiet, much quieter then my TSS was bone stock and even quieter then it was with a washer stack/spring combo. I truly wish we could do a comparison of every different LDC thats out there and come up with some sort of rating scale. It makes backyard sniping possible. I only get in trouble when I don’t get a clean shot and they flop around in the yard or run off into the neighbors yard to croak.
Granted it will cold cock a squirrel in the back yard with no sound…that I firmly believe from the solid construction shown.

This was what it looked like before the final flat black finish was applied. It does work good. nothing better then dropping a squirrel in the back yard while the neighbors are cooking out, without as much as a turn of the head. great guy to deal with and a lot cheaper then a few of the others I have priced from others on this forum.
I got mine from SubSonic, and it is sweet!!! It is built like a tank and the fit and finish is Top Notch. I have seen lots of them on here and the one I got from him is just as nice as any of them, if not nicer…Just saying
I have two of them on my condor’s, and they work as good today as when I got them. Perfect for hunting and back yard practice.
Scott is always willing to answer any question I have had. He is a great guy to do business with. He is an honorable person I would highly recommend him to anyone of my friends.

I have to agree with everyone here…GTBJ (Scott) is great to deal with and his work is top notch!!
A year or two ago, I sent Scott my GTBJ shroud back for some minor modifications, via USPS. The padded envelope arrived, but the contents were gone. He replaced it promptly, without fuss or bother. A leap of faith on his part, but I never forgot his trust in my honesty.
On my then Talon SS, the shroud was quiet as a still night. Only the “tink” of the hammer could be heard.
i want to shroud my ss, how much are the gtbj ones? how much length do they add?

The former forum member “GTBJ” hasn’t been around here for a couple of years. He made a good Air Force grub screw AF shroud back then, but I don’t believe he visits here anymore.
One of his products may still be out there on a gun…that’s about your only hope, unless he reappears.
