Q:

Getting Scuba Tank Filled

I am more than sure this topic has come up but I have a scuba tank I have been getting filled at a paint ball club it is a pretty good drive for me but not terrible, Anyway I talked to a freind of mine that knows the guys at the local fire dept so I called the guy up and he said no problem told him what I was doing with it and everything is fine! Know I went there tonight Saturday and they use scott air packs which is common here in Indiana but they dont have the same fittings as my scuba tank has which I think is a k valve? the one airforce fill adapter and several others use. So anyone out there that knows what I need to get let me know I can get all the air I want free if they can fill my tank thanks Eddie

I had to get a din to fire house adapter, as for this is what I needed for the scuba shop re-fills at my place o fill.
They can fill me up to 3400 psi with out, but for a 4500 I needed this adapter.

Good Luck, and nice hook up, make sure you take care of the firemen, IE doughnuts coffee whatever they need at the station.

Yes on that Saw I think I might have to stop by from time to time with bake goods and pizza!

I am sure Joe has what I need now all he has to do is get me to figure out what he is telling me once Ifigure it out I will order what I need he seems to know his fittings for sure Eddie

I found this link in the Quick Ref I think the fire house adapter he has is what I need and maybe a hose, I emailed him waiting to hear from him. Thanks Sawtime

Eddy, think you probably have a din valve, or like you said k valve.
You need to know what you have then get a hold of Joe Brancato on the yellow classifieds, he carries every adapter you could imagine
