… we find ourselves shooting now and again, has anyone tried a product like
“Angle Cosine Indicator” by Sniper Tools Design? If so, your thoughts on the

Nope.
If I’m shooting at an angle I just guesstimate the horizontal distance to the target, ignoring the line of sight distance and that seems to work fine.
I didn’t know they existed…I have read some about the effects of gravity on the trajectory at different angles but that would sure take some of the guess work out of figuring yardages when aiming higher or lower than vertical.

You aim as if the target is closer… whether you aim lower depends on how you have your gun sighted.
