Going from 12" barrel to 18" barrel
Anybody that has gone from a 12″ barrel to an 18″ barrel, other than noise, did you see that much difference and was it worth the extra $$ to do it?
I’m waiting on a tony’s 6″ shroud extension to arrive and thinking about going the extra 6 inches in barrels now.

Trig, I did the 12″ t 18″ swap and a “BIG YES”!!! Especiall with heavy pellets. The Kodiaks shot OK before. Now it kicks serious butt!

You are going to love it. In my opinion that is how the gun should be made with a 18″ barrel the frame extends past it 8″.
You are going to get more power and be able to reach out much further with less loopy trajectory.
100 yards shots are routine.
What are you looking for re power etc?
Man, I really don’t have a clue. I have a 6″ shroud extension coming and with that extra space, was just interested in knowing if the extra 6″ in barrel length would make anykind of noticiable difference in fps or energy to justify the cost of the longer barrel.
I know there is all kinds of mods that can be made to the valve, hammer and such, but I am not interested in doing those. Just plan on leaving everything stock and figured I might gain something with a bit longer barrel.

90fps increase in velocity.
