GOOD FORUM FRIENDS: "THE BULLET PUCK"
Years ago, I never would have thought that I could make a friend over the internet. Especially a “GOOD” friend. A friend that I talk to just about everyday as well as send free stuff too that i paid for. And he the same. But, to be honest, it seems that my “FORUM” friends are better friends than my “FACE TO FACE” friends…..lol!
I will make this short but its a “BIG” thing to me. My good buddy RJ Porter called me one day and said that he was sending me something that I might find useful. I asked him “WHAT WAS IT” and he said, “You will see when it gets there”.
A few days pass and I receive a box from RJ. He had promised me some 257 cal 102 gr Spitzers (for my 446 yard soda can video) so I knew that is what it was in the box. But, what else could he have sent me? What could he be referring to?
Low and behold, I open the box to find this “THING” sitting in it:
I then call RJ to ask………..WHAT THE HELL IS IT?! Even though I think I was kinda getting the bigger picture. He tells me its a container to hold my bullets in while I hunt. And further more, I can customize it myself to fit bullets of my choice and caliber. All I had to do was to redrill the holes to the caliber of choice. I was so extactic. RJ even told me that it would fit inside my shirt pocket and makes very little if ANY noise when i move. He then sais, “I drilled it to fit your 257 bullets 1st but you can redrill it to fit your 308’s if you want to”. I can also make you another one if you want.
😯 ARE YOU SERIOUS?! REALLY! WOW! 😯
We talked for about 30 more minutes and he told me that he sent it too me raw and that I could easily paint it or whatever I wanted to do to it. I then thought for about 1 second and said, “I’M GONNA CAMO TAPE IT……LOL”! He liked the idea of camo tape. I also told him that i will name mine…………………..”THE BULLET PUCK”!:
The “BULLET PUCK” assembled fully loaded with 24 bullets of varying sizes. YES, I JUST HAVE TO CLEAN UP THE MOUTH OF EACH OPENING! I KNOW….. 😆 (bad tape job)
So for guys like RJ (rj porter), Doug (dyotat100) and RC (urepennantsinner), i say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the best :8: :8:

Damn Rc we have too much in common. I chew lead like bubble gumwhile iI cast. But heade these words don’t spit the lead into the pot.
Great idea, if I had one I could do all sorts of thing while hunting, like eat, drink water, talk on the phone.
Right now I just carry my bullets in my mouth, I put them in right after casting and they have cooled, I squirt some Silicone oil in my mouth and it lubes them while I am carrying them.
Now I know some of you will get all a tither about this, and say that the saliva that is in my mouth will contaminate the silicone oil, but with all the physcotrophic drugs I take, my mouth is dry all the time anyway.
I have gotten pretty good at rapid fire, I just open the bolt and spit in another bullet.

And FAIRLY, don’t take it personal, its just all over every airgun forum and pretty much accepted around the globe. Hell, look at the Chinese, they don’t create anything original, they simply COPY a product with CHEAP materials. I think that printer is fuckin awesome and i wish i had one. Pretty soon, everyhouse hold will…..lol 😆 😈

I’m a big fan of using HDPE for all kinds of things, a hole saw and some drill bits go a long way!

Yep syn, I did get the idea from that post. I made them like 3 days later. Very easy to make. Takes like 10 min with a drill and a hole saw. And by no means am I taking credit for that design. Ced and myself use lubed bullets to hunt with so what better way to keep the lube off our persons but with the ” puck “. Also thanks for the kind words CED, means a lot.

You are right about Forum friends. I have had some dealings with a few of the guys on here, Including yourself, Doug and Old Goat to name a few. To bad you guys live 2000+ miles away. It’s nice to know that some of you are just a phone call away. 😉

Everybody in the airgun world copies everyone else. So it doesn’t surprise me that somebody already “PRINTED” the originals posters idea just like RJ did mine.
BUT…………MINE WAS FREE AND FROM THE HEART and I personally NAMED mine! 😆 Big difference.
