Got a new toy arriving Wedsday …
and would like to hear you TAG men’s input on optics.
Just bought a Sig Saur 516 Patrol, .223 18″ barrel
It comes with a Sig red dot sight, guy at the shop said it was
OK, won’t get by for me, gonna mount that on my Colt/Umarex 22fake AR
So, 300.00 to maybe 700.00 range, what would ya get ?
Reg scope wise @ optic planet I was checking out the Nikon and mount
specifically for 223
Then I was looking on Trigicons site at a red dot scope or just a red dot sight
Too many choices out there
Or do I steal a scope off one of my Talons ?
Just to get started, maybe I should just go with the sig red dot
I put a Nikko on my Rem 700 bull barrel and can hit a can out at 300 yards
Just wanna do that semi auto style

Saw, I will sweeten the deal for you and do the ACOG for 750.00 shipped. If you don’t jump all over that, I will personally pay for three visits to the “shrink”
Again, this is brand new, never used. Lifetime warranty, Bullet drop reticle out to 600 yards…just aim and squeeze, no scope dope needed. Let me know.

I can,t believe they even thought about putting a red dot on that rifle. A red dots extreme limit is 100 yds, that sig don’t level out till 200yds.
I just got a .17 hmr and put a Center Point 4-16×40 on it and work good out to 300 yds and so far it’s held up for me, hold zero well and is pretty clear even turned all the way up.

You’ve never seen someone who can actually run an AR shoot have you??
I cant do it but i’ve got two good friends who competed in ipsc and three gun comps for years and if they’ve got red dots and im at 500yrds…. im not breaking cover for any thing…
