Q:

Got my 22 cricket 22 single shot tray

Thanks to Michael at sixfrost@yahoo.com.
I got my single shot tray,
I got about 5 tins of Eunjin 32.4 gr pellets in 22 cal that might be good at 30 yards ,
I am sure my Cricket 22 will put the hurt on a sparrow with that load,
Have not tried them yet, Kind of in a fog , Doc got me on some new Meds , But the whiskey helps.
Been on the yellow and just missed a 177 cricket at a good price, I will keep watching.
Ha,

Bought mine from a buddy and had a slight leak, since it needed a reseal (did a lot of reading/research) I thought I’d step up and get the Charlie Cricket 25 cal high performance tune and and reseal together.
Here’s a list of things he does:
Full accurizing service on barrel which includes lapping of the bore,
Perfecting and polishing the crown
Tapering the lead
Polishing and removal of any burrs in transfer port
Complete replacement of all O-rings
Trigger adjustment
Test shooting session
from his website:
http://www.georgiaairguns.net/cricket.html lots of pics and specific info.

Mine is shooting the JSB 34 heavies at 922fps and very tight groups at 50yds.
To me worth every cent I spent on upgrade. He’s a great guy and airgun specialist, I’m buying my next new one from him, either a Taipan Mutant or Vulcan in 22cal.

Ordered mine today – can’t wait to try it.
Yes I had Charlie do the Georgia tune and it rocks.

Ray with did Charlie do to your gun?

My single shot tray arrived today, got it fitted and ready to run some rounds through it tomorrow. Nice design and technology.
Mike responded to my email/order and shipped quickly. :biggrinn:

Hi gents! Glad you’re enjoying the single shot trays.

Yeah, Mike – VERY light sanding. Also, for the main chamber, use an appropriate to caliber sized drill bit BY HAND and again very lightly, just a turn or two… They are made with just a hair more material to fit very snugly – that’s how I prefer them, with ability to “custom” fit. They’ll work themselves in after a bunch of shots too.

The o-ring should be the same as the barrel ring – either .22 or .25, which are the two calibers I have the trays in. I don’t have one in .177… but with a bit of fitting, one could drill out the main chamber of the tray and use some kind of a plastic tube as an insert.

I just ordered on too…

Here is his info from the yellow.

Just found out you have to do a little sanding on it to fit just right, I got it out the other day and played with it , I got to get me some better sand paper and just play around with it, Came with no instructions , But I am sure I can figure it out,
Mike

this is why I posted, didn’t want to step on any toes.
