Got my ShoeBox today
WOOHOOO, i’m so excited to finally be able to fill my tanks on my own and not having to rely on scuba shops anymore. They never seem to fill my tanks all the way to full pressure. My first fill should be next week sometime. I also have one more piece to the puzzle which is coming in next week also.

Don’t forget to install the bleed off shaft. Remember to screw it all the way counter clockwise to prepare to fill.
I topped off my Guppy tank today from 3,100 to 4,500 PSI in about 1 hour 8 minutes. And I’m only using 1,700 PSI fill right now for low power Quiet shooting of 12″ x .177 in my Condor. Having the power, I’m thinking about skipping the .25 craze and going to .45 caliber so I’ll have something similar but better than ‘Lewis & Clark’s secret weapon, the Girandoni .46 caliber air rifle.’

My set up is identical to yours with the same Harbor freight pancake compressor and filter. I have a lot more humidity here, my filter would turn pink in 10 days or less, so I piggy backed them to insure I get that moisture out.
I found them on sale at Harbor Freight last month for 4.99 each and bought 8 of them.

I am enjoying mine. I top off the 3000 psi tank to 3100 psi.
The scuba shop does them fast to 3000 psi and when they cool you get about 2800 psi.

just a heads up. it may not matter but you have the dessicant in the input line installed backwards. if you look at the filter, you will see an arrow indicating direction of airflow and the arrow points from narrow end towards wide end. the wide end should be at the shoebox and the narrow end connected to the coiled hose. as i said it may not matter- then again it might. also those dessicant filters are only rated for 90 psi input( although i routinely run my pancake at 95). just an FYI. Jerry
