got my talon ss mostly dialed in
adjusted the top hat, only squeezed a little more FPS out of it but did make a LOT more consistent, that was probably due to the fact the 1 of the set screws was almost all the way out, and the other one wasn’t very tight (THANK YOU AIRFORCE QC) anyway, both are tight and have locktite now. beefed up the baffling and drilled hole in the frame and bushing. mounted a Simmons 3 – 9 x 32 scope, Harris bi pod and light with pressure switch. I’ve got a wokbutt on order for it.
next thing to do is get a replacement for the crappy grip, I’ll probably order one from Steve Corcoran, he’s done several grips for me in the past, and they’ve all fit like a glove. then I’ll have to something to quiet down the hammer, since that and the pellet hitting is basically the only thing you can hear now.
it slings the 28 gr eun jin pellets downrange at between 685 – 695 FPS for a FPE of 29.6
the 16 gr predator ploymag is doing 837 – 850 FPS
I’ve got it zeroed in at 33 yards, which should give me a 1 inch kill zone from 3 yards to 41 yards

OK, but how are you doing at 3 yards?
I’d test that theory before putting it into practice.

I can get it inside a 1 inch bullseye from 50 feet to 120 feet. (~15 yards – 40 yards) I have another target at 150-160 feet that’s on a 1×6 inch piece of cedar that I have to aim about 3 inches high to hit the middle of the bullseye and the pellet will go clear thru the wood.
I’d test that theory before putting it into practice.
