I bought a new TSS and it had a leaky valve.
The Marmot_Militia Valve removal tool should be part of evryones kit.
Marmot_Militia is a very honest and helpful person 🙂

I pulled my valve off with a steel bolt of the same diameter as the hole opposite the burts disk. The valve housing was super tight. I took the rubber tank sleevs off first clamped the tank in a vice with cardboard to prevent damage. The rubber sleeves slip right off if you use some CRC Glass Cleaner and replacing them is a breeze if you spray the glass cleaner on the tank prior to replacing. The Glass cleaner will evaporate kinda like the spray used to apply window tints.

Re: Valve
Removing the valve for the first time was a mission. I could not do it without causing some damage. This is where Marmot_Militia’s VRT ( Valve Removal Tool) or similar, Would have been essential. To prevent damage.
If you elongate or swell the hole tyring to remove the valve housing, the tank will not screw back on to the Frame! The Valve housing will need to be skimmed in a lathe to true the surface. this will lose the nice black finish. There is another way, you could dump the air and remove just the brass valve using the 2 little slots. This part should not be super tight. However it has the valve spring pressure against it, so it migh pop out when unscrewed! This will allow access and visibility to the actual valve. It also makes it possible to replace O-rings. I will update this when I get some pics and a chance to get back here. Valve removal VRT valve removal tool. Valve repair.

Once ya get if off ya may as well make it better!!

Well I sent my Condor air tank off to AirForce for repairs.
Brass valve under Top Hat was where it was leaking.
I just have to shoot something other than the Condor.
I can wait.

Put some air in it and then put it into a sink full of water. You should be able to tell quickly where it is leaking.

You can also mix up a batch of 1/2 dish soap and 1/2 water and put it on al the connections, ie., where the valve screws into the tank and at the valve body where the stem comes out and again inside the stem @ the top hat.

If it is leaking at the joint of the valve and tank, buy a wrench from Marmotmilitia , Jim Gaska, put it in your vice and fix it yourself, that would be far quicker than dealing with AF

Everyone should know how to disasseble a tank and valve, perhaps your time is has come, it is a valuable skill when using these rifles.
