Got the RCBS .251 "50gr" mold in today.
Like all the RCBS products we have, it’s a top line quality item. Timmy is getting some handles out and will be doing some test casting and sizing this evening. We will establish pricing, available sizes and such based on level of effort and to a lesser degree on paying down the cost of an expensive mold… it cost nearly half of the last ring slug mold!

It will be a few more days before we have it sorted. Tried it out and initially got bullets with wrinkles. Made a couple adjustments and they got better but not good enough. The cavities in this heavy mold are so small that pouring does little to keep the temp up I’m thinking. I would have made some more adjustments to lead and mold temp but I’m going shooting tomorrow so I had to transfer over to casting what I need! I’ll get back to the .25 maybe Sunday.
