gotta confess ..sent check to aoa today
I asked the poll question…Ranger or Royal and after seeing the responses, I made my decision….The Ranger………. BUT….when it came time to stroke that check to AOA , I had a change of heart or maybe it was a pain in the pocket. Anyway, for 500 bucks less, the Royal is gonna be the one….Times is tight and I just couldn’t get off that extra 500. I have ordered the syn stock in .22…..I wanted that Ranger…maybe another day…..I have the Whisper with the smoothie twist and it seems to be a pretty good shooting gun..I like it, soooo We shall shall see what this Royal is gonna be like…Thanks to all for the advice……….don

the ranger is NOT electronic.

The Ranger sure looks like quite a rifle but between the key,battery, and what not seems to be getting a bit removed some of the aspects I look for in a rifle.
I’m thinking i am going to be moving a few rifles to pay for a Royale myself and will be interested in how you make out with yours.
Im sure they’re both excellent guns , but if your like me , your not going to be happy until you get the ranger. 😆
The Royal shoots great and you’re going to love the synthetic stock. I own the same one and it’s a great gun. Perfectly balanced!

The Royale should have good resale value for when you trade it in on the Ranger… 😆
In all honesty, with the higher end guns such as those, you are really splitting hairs when speaking on performance and such. I’m quite sure you will be just as happy with the Royale as you would have been with the Ranger.
When I got my Ranger, they were running a special and the price was actually just a little lower than the price of the Royale so I had no such dilemma. It may have been a bit harder to shell out the money at the current $1800 price tag 😯
Enjoy your Royale I am sure youll love it. Stock up on 18s and 21s.
reading your comments certainly makes me feel a lot better…being new to this sport of airgunning and kicking out that kind of money, makes me wonder if I made a good decision…..Years ago , I used to shoot rifles, but got out of it. These airguns make it much more easier to shoot. They are so quiet and yet powerful….My friends and I have really been impressed by the T12 Whisper and this site has been a wealth of info…..Its the best site I have found…..and I must say, I like the Yellow Forum as well……..I guess I better get on outside and stand by that mail box….The brown Santa will be here about the middle of next week…..and I can’t wait……d
