Graphic* Edgun .22 rabbit control

I had a phone call last week from a farmer who needed help with a rabbit problem.. he told me he had so many rabbits that that Id be there for a month.. unfortunately he had already educated them with his .22lr unsuppressed so they are a little on the cagey side.. How close can you get I asked.. He told me that there were so many burrows now that you’d be lucky to get within 100 meters of them without them ducking out of sight.. His wife breeds horses so noisy centre fires were out of the question so I headed on over to his place with the Edgun and he showed me the problem areas..
From a hill top I counted over 70 rabbits in one paddock!!! 😯 This guy was not kidding.. he indeed has a rabbit problem.. you can barely see grass for all the burrowing!
I made my way slowly to a nice crest which put a good number of rabbits within 90 to 160 meters and got to work.. there was a light variable wind from right to left which made it challenging as some times I was holding off for wind and it would suddenly drop causing a few frustrating close shaves.. but luckily the Edgun is quiet and most rabbits were only alerted to the fact they were under fire when the bunny beside it made a unmistakeable pop sound and somersaulted down the hill.. once I got dialled in it was head shot after head shot.. the furtherest clean kill head shot I ranged was 152m :8:
I even remembered to strap on the scope cam for you guys but have decided to return to this farm over the next few weeks until the numbers are back under control so a full length vid will come later.
I lost count of how many I shot but here’s a sneak peak of what’s to come..
