So, I never kept a secret that I prefer that my representative in region was a person I know personally. Yes, there are exceptions, which just confirms the rule 🙂 Even those who began to work with me and I didn’t’ know personally, soon became my friends and I built up the work not as business but mostly as hobby, you all know it.
That is why a representative in Greece appeared recently. Hi is Russian (means came there from Russia but is greece by nationality) so it is much easier for me to work with him. He decided to try to be a representative in Greece because the great interest to my guns in that country. As soon as I have information about the representative in Greece at EDgun web site, he became to get a lot of orders, sounds good doesn’t it? But, almost immediately after that he got a threat from the local gun dealers, who would like to sell EDguns, saying that if he goes on that way, they will call the police since he is not legal gun dealer, bla-bla-bla… I consider such a behavior as quite wrong and, or course in order not to expose my friend to a possible problems I remove his from the representative (based on his own wish), so local gun dealer can celebrate it, but Greese is closed for me now. I close it for me myself. So, I want those in Greese, who wanted to get my gun to know — you can blame you official gun dealers for that. I don’t care who it was personally, but I will not work with ANY gun dealers from Greece whatever sweet conditions they would offer. It is a matter of principle now to get a gun dealer license for my friend and wok officialy in Greece, and I will try to make it.

In fact I even refrained from making ANY generalized remark about the bad situation in Greece simply because it can happen just about anywhere.
If i’m going to get judged like I am for something I never did I can start making sweeping generalizations that most people here won’t like much at all. I thought we were above that here… 😕

We are dealing with a minimum of three languages in this thread, three different cultures, and three different ways to express a thought.
Our forum members do great in communicating, even though English is a second language to them.
I believe our friend Naser404 did a nice job by using his connections to help get this problem sorted out. I noticed Ed was interested in Naser’s proposal. It’s a good idea, and everyone should come out ahead.
I agree with Synopsys that “Assholes” are everywhere. But not everyone is an asshole as gpapado pointed out. But synopsys has dealt with his share of “assholes” and is passionate about people doing the right thing.
We all express ourselves freely on this board, thanks to enlightened Moderators who give us pretty much a free ticket to say what we feel needs to be said.
Our Moderators are the best anywhere. This forum cannot be beat for a fun and informative place to hang out…and a good place to “vent” our frustration.
So let’s not beat this horse to death. :horse: Time to move on to more interesting subject matter.

I never once stated all people in Greece are assholes.

I think the economical situation in Greece has a big part in the behavior of those other gun dealers.
Everyone in Greece has a very very very difficult time, and they know your guns can sell easely with good profits!
So they don’t want 1 man to take all the €’s in his pocket, but they want to take a bit of it too…
Understandable in these economical situations, but I agree, totally not done how they do it. Maybe for them it would have be better to contact your person and try to cooporate with him. If your guy is not interested, bad luck for them.. Let them search something else to compete..
But I’m afraid the €crisis is the big responsible for this!!!

Pay no attention to “synopsys” as he was castrated by his last wife, and made to eat his own balls, after she fried them in hot oil. To add insult to his injury, she was a horrible cook and they were still pink in the middle.
Synopsys is in an insane asylum in rural New York state, where he is made to clean the toilets three times each day. He hates the inmates of Greek descent because the spicy foods they eat make his eyes water when he scrubs their toilets.
He will deny all of what I have said. Just remember, he is insane!
