Grip alternative
For those of you who still haven’t got a Tacstar or Hogue Grip,i came across an alternative that seems to work very well.
A bicycle tyre inner-tube cut to size and turned inside out turns a rough hard pistol grip into a warm grippy more palm friendly grip. 🙂
I also applied the same to the silencer to spare it from knocks and scrapes while out in the field.
I hope this is useful to somebody.

I have shot it a few times as well as bagging a crow at 80 yard from my bedroom window.The rubber has altered the acoustics of the sound by turning what was left out of the mod from a wack to a thump,if that makes any sense.
Just what I expected/wanted to hear. Gonna have to try it out. figured it would be like “dynomat” and deaden any metallic/ping which some shrouds have. “deepen” what sound there is; not so much quieter, but less like an airgun.

good idea on the bike tube. cheap or free mod can’t beat that.
have you shot it with the rubber on the outside of the moderator yet? curious if it deadened the sound any.
