Groundhog smackdown
Pretty proud of this shot….saw him out the corner of my eye and luckily had my edgun right next to me…ranged him at 58 yards and waited for him to give me a broadside shot…I put the pellet right behind his front shoulder and he was done.

Just bagged this little bastard…he ran away from me this morning but as I grabbed a cup of water I ran outside with my gun and took a shot at his head…but the pellet dropped and hit him I’m assuming in the throat and he ran for his hole…so I went to see if he was still by the hole I looked in and saw his tail and knew he was gone….I pulled him out and here he is.
Lol thanks…they do so much damage that its legal to kill them all year round…so being that I saw him from the corner of my eye I decided he needed to go.

Hey baker sorry i hadn’t replied…I’ve been off for a while busy with work and turkey hunting.
The sleeve was bought at my local gun store…it is a neoprene shotgun sleeve that holds shotgun shells…I liked it cause I was able to cut it to shape and it attaches with Velcro so it always fits snug…

Whenever I kill 1 another hits the same hole a few days later….so being that the hole they occupy is only 60yrds away from me, their easily at eye distance and in range of my Matador.
