Q:

Groups at 50 and 75 Yards…

This is the best I can do (bench rested).
How much better should I be able to do?

Condor SS filled to 3000 shot down to 2600 psi.

That sounds like what I am looking to do with mine. I find that JSB Kings shoot great but have dabbled some using a ninja regulator to a SCBA and tested several different pressures. What pressure did you end up settling on, 2200psi? Was it the best accuracy/shot count.

Try some Benji pellets sometimes they shoot better.

ok, i agree mostly

but you do not need a reg to shoot your best groups.for ease and simplicity yes , the reg is a must,

if you don’t mind tuning for peak consistency , you can shoot way better groups . or equal groups or better from a regulated gun

his fps variation is not out of the equation, so i would be looking elsewhere .

rest, hold technique or elsewhere .

You can always get better groups, but those “big hole” zones are showing promise. You are the only one who can answer the

question. The rifle can deliver better groups, but maybe not as is.

Start by watching the pressure and fps when the groups are tightest. If, for example, your first shots @ 3,000 psi are poor, until you drop to e.g. 2,800 psi, the groups will improve by starting with the 2,800 fill and stopping right before they open up. To get more usable shots per fill, you can play with the top hat, hammer spring pretension/power wheel and tank pressure to deliver the most shots within the desired fps range. Since you, in theory, know what fps you are after, this part is mostly chrony work. Tuning can be really time consuming with so many variables. If you got the time and like to learn, you can improve the rifle’s performance. Another option is to get Tony to tune your rifle for a given pellet.

Condors tend to be much more hold and vibration sensitive than the other rifles I own. If your bags are sand-filled, rice or walnut hulls may be better. I’ve used socks, filled w/ rice, in a pinch. Lots of guys prefer bipods to bags.

Both group sets show a tight zone with a big hole-therein are your clues.

For maximum accuracy, a Condor with a regulator setup is hard to beat. Dyotat tricked out a Condor of mine and the regulator made a huge difference in air efficiency and accuracy. My recent groups were only 40 yds. Once the scope was sighted in, it popped out a 40 yd, 5-shot group of 5/16 inch ctc, .25 caliber. This was using a field pod and a super light hold.

You can also do better by sho  ting a squirrel 😛
