Groups of the day with my new AZ MK2 Rapid 25 caliber
I shot first at 54 yards off the grape bins standing with a Caldwell bag in front, rolled up leather jacket in back.
This is the best group with Kings at 933 FPS under .40 inch c to c for 5 shots.
This is the best group with Kodiaks still well under a half inch at .42.
I readjusted the MK4 trigger to give a very short 1 stage let off and a crisp 8 oz break. It had a very long first stage and maybe a 2 oz break, personal preference sort of thing. Easy trigger to adjust.
Right now I have the rifle set to shoot Kings at 915 and the Kodiaks at 860 FPS. I shot these two 100 yard groups in a varible wind right to
left, I did not correct for the wind and just let it take them where it wanted. I have no doubt it will shoot consistantly under a inch on windless days.
Kings 100 yards.
Kodiaks 100 yards.
Now to make up my mind if I order more Kings or change over to Kodiaks.
Nice rifle, just ugly. 😛 It has a Josh Graham shroud and out in the open it is so damn quiet.

I only own four air guns now.
Originally I wanted to sell my Royale 500 carbine, I was not shooting it and I wanted to just have solid cast bullet guns and the Drozd.
But Josh Graham offered a trade and it turnd out he was just 130 miles away, so I drove over and made the trade with him.
H bought the gun a couple years ago, it was his 17th Rapid and he did the stock work on it.
I Have the Haley 257, the Ranger 45, a Drozd on HPA with no thether, and the Rapid.
Yes I have had some bums, I owned a springer at one time, it was a very classy BSA Improved Model D, but it was after all a springer. 😛

I see what you mean about looks. Could be a decent looker if a bit more detailing on the front stock was done. Looks like it doesn’t match with the curves on the butt stock. Still, the pellets don’t care and the vermin will drop.
Good to see you weren’t swallowed up by the allure of the big-bore guns. Speaking of which, it’s been about a year ago I ordered a Ranger, wonder if it’s time to check-in with the man. 😕

It is a Bushnell 5×15 Tactical 3200. They sold for about 300 dollars, very good scope.

Josh made a custom shroud for my AA S510 and it was silent too.
I just got my Air Ranger .22, 50 fpe back from Steve at PAG. Same result…1.25″ diameter shroud, and next to zero noise, other than hammer slap.
What scope is that you have mounted?

I got my start with a talon ss, bought a condor for power!
Found out every time I took it out it sht nice small groups.
Unfortunately never to the same point!
So this site and you guys got me started in PCP.
I now own an edgun and a daystate because of you!
