GTBJ Shroud Arrived Today
Along with my first tin of JSB Monsters. I quikly browsed through the instructions that GTBJ included, proceded to install the shroud on my .22 Condor which was a breeze (took about 5 minutes). I set up some paper at 45 yds then stuffed one of the Monsters into the pipe and let one go into a near by open field just to check the sound level. It was so quite that my first thought was oh crap, that freeking pellet must have gotten stuck. Unscrewed the bottle to take a peak and the barrel was clean. I loaded up another just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming and same result. All I could hear is the hammer and pffft. Oh happy day. My Condor is truly neighbor friendly alast. The shroud not only was easy to install, but also fit great, looked killer and did its job. Now let’s see what these Monsters are all about. I put a string of 10 into the paper from a bench rest. The entire group could have easily been covered by a nickel but my POI was now off to the right by .75″ after the shroud install??? I cranked 5 clicks of left into the Accushot and proceded to finish off the fill by punching out the center of my target. I gotta tell ya, my Condor is diggin’ the Monsters so far. It started getting dark and I wanted to end the session feeling good so I stopped while I was ahead. Gonna sleep good tonight. Thanks Scott for the sweet mod. 😀
