Q:

Gun cam

Hey just bought the Casio ex-zr310 exilim cam for my gun. Dose any one know how to record in slow motion or should I say play it back in slow motion ? I’ve been messing with this for hours now and can’t work the pice of shit. The Manuel off Internet is German !
Dose the ex-zr310 even support high speed? The 100,200 and 300 do

Casio zr is really good camera for the air gun application. It takes time to get used to it. You can play and trim the footage on camera quickly and review your POI quickly.

Here is a vid I made a couple of days ago(casio ex zr15 video), you will see a full HD capture at very beginning, and followed by two 240fps clips, the target is 96Y.

That’s cool. Did you slow the movie down ? just after you pulled the trigger it looks like you slowed the footage down even slower

Hi Rabbit.

HS240 is best compromise for speed and clearity.

I did a video on the .22 and the .25, but pellets are too small to see. I waiting for the .30 cal. to make a video. I bet it will look like a missile.

Hi Campbell
You can see the pellet on teds holdover! And he is using same cam and matador 22.

Is any one going to up load a few vids on there hunting experience that you captured through your scope

Here are the video modes it supports. 240 fps is a pretty good compromise of resolution and image capture for airgun pellet speeds (and sparrow explosions). 😀

FHD:1920×1080 (30fps) / HD*4:1280×720 (15fps) / STD: 640×480 (30fps) /
HS 1000 (224×64 1000fps)/ HS 480 : 224×160 (480fps) / HS 240 : 512×384(240fps) /
HS 120 : 640×480 (120fps) / HS 30-240 : 512×384 (30 to 240fps) / HS 30-120 : 640×480 (30 to 120fps)

Thanks hoot
Is HS240 the correct speed to see my pellet flying ?
I’m all excited now. Can’t wait for my mount

Go to this web site and download the English version for the 310.

On this page, just a few lines down is a blue highlighted link to start the download. It looks like this:

John your the Man.
Thank you very much. I was ready to send it back

It don’t show video after turning to A then pressing menu. If I arrow down its size not video

I think all the models are the same 100,200,or 310

turn on camera,
set turn dial to “A” for automatic exposure.
push “Menu” button once.
scroll down to video (second from the top)
press select.
scroll down to HS240 (high speed 240 frame/second)
press select.

tap shutter release button when done

good luck
