Gun case options for 45" long Condor?
What gun cases do you guys normally use for your Condor? It looks like a double-wide hard case would be a good match for the Condor but would also like to fit the gun in a soft well padded case (like 48-52″) because I find it easier to walk with it on my shoulder in the field.
I tried putting the Condor into 48″ and a 52″ soft cases I use for my Magnum Springers but the scope (width) was an issue. The cases didn’t seem wide enough for the Condor with a scope (50mm) although my Springers with 40 & 44mm objective lenses fit fine with room to spare.

I ‘m pretty sure the Plano Protector 52″ double-case is the one that P/A sells too (see the link above) and it’s a $1 less. The dimensions are the same. They ‘re both 4″ height as are their single gun cases. I have 2 of these already for other scoped guns. Was hoping to find something different or more “cool”..
Come’on guys.. Does everyone here use the same $28 Plano double-gun case for their Condor? Give me some more ideas/options, please! 💡
Plano Protector Series 52″ Double Gun/Scoped Rifle Case…was $28.99 at Bass Pro Shops. I’m switching over to these for all of my scoped guns.

I have 2 of those Plano double-wide cases and I wanted something different. They also have barely enough padding IMO but for the price.. can’t complain too much. I have bought a couple of soft cases from MidSouth Shooters that had extra thick padding made from Bulldog I think and they weren’t too expensive (~$30). I may look at those again to see if they have an extra wide one but I think I ‘ll probably go with another double-wide hard case again so I can put an extra bottle in it when I go hunting.
It’s the additional length of the pistol grip I guess plus the raised rail that requires a very wide case for a scoped Condor.
Some beauts here, though not cheap. I’ve just ordered the Aim 50″ Tactical Drag Bag. 😀
