Gun upgrades and in need of some ideas
I have a airforce condor .25 with a 24″ barrel used for varmint elimination and some hunting (despite my location I get woodchucks and regular raccoons and sewer coons for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting up with a sewer coon imagine a raccoon that is all black and will attack anything that crosses it’s path, and opossums) so with that I was in need of something strong that I knew would do it’s job at long distances and short as well as powerful because even the woodchuck brushed off the .22 round from my Benjamin Trail.
OK, so far I have only done a few things to my my gun:
1. UTG 3-9×50 AO Rifle Scope, Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1 inch Tube, 3/8 inch High Rings
2. AirForce Bipod for Talon and Condor
3. TalonTunes Tank Adapter (should have gotten one sooner. No more counting/guessing and it really just add to the overall look of the gun, also unlike the
spin-loc from Airforce this can be unscrewed making the gun fit in a smaller case the spin-loc needs to stay on. P.S. for those of you who order one on the collar where you screw in the valve there is a little grub screw on the bottom loosen that up and you can adjust the adapter to be centered)
4. Slanted Original WokGard 15 (coming soon just ordered yesterday had to get it while it was on sale )
5. Shroud from RL Airgun supply (not pictured as it’s been sent back to be repaired cannot wait to get it back gun is just too loud in the city lol)
Now I need to decide what’s up next, as I said I have some crazy critters that venture into my neighborhood so what I am wondering is
should I get an upgrade to my top hat valve? If so should I upgrade my hammer as well?
What does everyone else think?

The slap hammer mod quiets the loud hammer and gives you a little more power. With that I would get Anthonys valve with inserts which help u regulate the amount of air coming out which is really great for lighter weight pellets and heavier weight pellets. If you want to quiet your gun and get more power when you need it buy both mods. Go talk with Anothony.I am not sure if you have a vented frontbushing but that helps as well. The great thing about these mods is you can jack your power up and bring it down so you can shoot lighter pellets. I have a shroud and this gun with these mods do not break the sound barrier unless you don’t know what you are doing. For instance the bigger hammer and valve at full power will most likley not break sound barrier with 43.2 Eunjins but you will have 100 plus pounds of energy. You play with it and your crony and you will have a machine. Any questions call TT.

to be honest with you with the way the gun sits now it is plenty powerfull to take out coons, woodchuck , coyotes . if you feel you need any more power then go with the valve and hammer but like i said the condor .25 cal stock is plenty powerfull for what you mentioned .i had the .22 benjamin trail and that gun does not even compair to the power of the condor .25 cal . if you plan on getting the upgrades you may have to deal with the crack of the pellet like the sound of a .22 rimfire breaking the sound barrier and now your gun is no longer quiet .then is it worth the money ?
