Gunpower Shadow
Picked up my new Shadow today, fitted the scope, bipod and front sling swivel. I need to work something out for the rear one as I can’t find the AF ones in the UK, and the shipping from the US is 3x as much as the swivels.
I’m just waiting a package from Tony :winkn:

If you have the three baffle sound lock system you only need to remove one baffle.

I haven’t had a chance to fire my CSS much but when I did it was without the 9″ fitted and it was surprisingly quiet, just the mechanism and the pellet impact. I’m used to firing a full power Diana 460 springer so that may account for it.
I can fit the 9″ with the soundloc installed. It’s hard to imagine what it’ll be like with the 9″ fitted.
When I was looking at Taddager’s TalonP bullpup kit, which has a silencing system built in, (I believe equivalent to soundloc performance) I was told that at 12lbs levels it would be all but silent. I would think it would be the same with yours with either the 9″ or the soundloc fitted. Silent but deadly :biggrinn:

I’m surprised about the soundloc not fitting with the silencer, not that I know about theses things.
Might be worth asking Tony about it. IIRC the Shadow is the same as a Talon SS and I thought they fitted together without issue
I’ve finally received my filling adapters so I can now fill the bottle. I’ll be having a play at the weekend. A little pellet testing etc.

One of his 9″ scooter mufflers. All fitted and looking good, but I did have to remove the soundloc kit.

I’ve been thinking about getting a small sub 12 gun probably the TalonP with one of Tagdaggers quick disconnect microlight kits and I’ve got an unrestricted CSS which I’ll have to down tune to bring home.
I’ve been wondering what to expect from them so I’ll be watching your journey with great interest.

Have you got it on ticket or are you running it sub 12lbs?
I’ve got a 9″ TTS on the way. I’ll probobly be adding a TTTA and a wokguurd 15. Its going to be used as for pest control to compliment my powder burners.

I’ve had to return the rifle for a warranty repair. Velocity dropped to 670fps from 780fps. Tophat adjustment made no difference, neither did replacing the breech orings.
I’m unable to strip the rifle due to the anti tamper screws fitted for the UK market
