Q:

gunpower stealth or air force tallon?

Hi, i was wondering is there a big difference between these two guns i own a gunpower stealth .22 under 12 foot pounds and can only see a fue add on’s for it on the gunpower web site, http://www.gunpower.org.uk/ but iv already got the 6 and 3 inch silencers, bi-pod and sling that my mate got with the gun from gunpower, then he sold it to me and i then i got a hawke eclipse 3-9×50 IR mil-dot scope from my local gun shop to go with it. iv seen a thing that wraps round the air bottle that holds you pellets and iv also herd of people changing the pistol grip for a more comfortable one which i would like to have also dose anyone know what are the best pellets for this gun im using FTT domes and sometimes RWS super points and ill be trying bisley mags all in .22 when i get my gun back from gunpower (its away for crono testing) can you guys help me thanks

If you want the UK version of the talon you will need an FAC licence. Just send your rifle off to Gunpower and ask for the FAC bit to be fitted.

I would not bother with that myself, get a longer barrel 18-24 inch would be the length to work with (the longer the barrel the more power so get a chrono).

Get a 65g hybrid hammer and medium strength spring with spring; I think it is £50, from this guy http://www.leupyscustomshop.co.uk/index.htm

The bottles in the UK have a little bit in the valve that restricts the air flow giving an average 10.5FPE despite the changes you make to the hammer and spring (barrel length will make a difference). If you want more power you will need an FAC licence but you could boar that restrictor out a few mm freeing up the airflow.

Otherwise you could get a regulated setup. Depending on the size of your barrel you will need more or less psi to get the right power. There are a few companies that see these regulators but you could get away with a UK spec Paintball setup.

They are basically the same except the UK version is reg. for 12lbs. FE? and does NOT have a power wheel, where as the Talon is not reg. and has an adj. power wheel. Lots of info on here do a search and you get quite a few hits.

I am pretty sure they are exactly the same as far as accessories are concerned….
