Had a chance to shoot my AZ Tuned Edgun R3 .25 today.
Here’s a 5 shot group @ 100yds. Using 25gr. JSB @ 900fps. Clean barrel fresh fill. 4 shots within 1/2″ and the darn 5th shot made it 3/4″. Not bad for shooting in 10mph winds.

Clarification:
R3 – single shot = good working gun and accurate – never had any issue with this model.
R3M – multi-shit or FrankEdstein = not working good but accurate
No one can take away the accuracy to these guns. I’ve never mentioned any problems with the accurary to any of my Edguns, not even the R3M. However, IMHO the R3M was rushed into production and hastily released without proper consumer testing and therefore my vocal opposition to this model.

Yep I’ve heard of him doing really good stuff just mostly on rapids and such. Didn’t know he worked on edguns was mostly curious on the price for what he did to weigh my options. Although I know i couldn’t go wrong with him working on it. Maybe I’ll give him a call.

Anyways…on topic…what work did you have Alan do for you exactly if ya don’t mind sharing the cost either? Turn around time too?

Just to give you an example: he did one of my Korea guns, I think it was the 50 cal — tack-driver at 50 yards if there is such a thing. He doesn’t do good work. He does great work!
Good shooting and group,10mph over 100yds is a appx 12″ drift or 3mil dot hold off.
But I hate to tell you you don’t need an AZ or anyone else tune to get those results.
Once Reg and HST are set for that flat string the gun just stacks pellets all day if shooter does his part.

Alan did my R2. He does great work. I had him do a lot of my guns and they are all tack-drivers. I was thinking about sending him one of my R3’s but they shoot great as-is and don’t need any help.

I had commented on MG only posting comments on threads that deal with issues R3M owners post on various topics(ie leaks from breeches, etc). So he made the effort to post a comment on a thread which was complimentary in nature regarding the Edgun.
