hammer???
what benefit would it be to put on a tt hammer on an otherwise stock talon ❓

I added weight to my hammer (a couple of bronze washers), and didn’t notice much of a difference – maybe 10 to 20 fps. What really got me more juice was adding an 18 inch barrel and a hammer weight. Prior to adding the weight and the longer barrel, I was shooting 14.3 grain JSBs at 835 fps. After adding them, it now shoots the same pellets at 925 fps. It also shoots the 18 grain JSB Heavies at 875 fps for 30 ft. lbs. at the muzzle. However, it’s also considerably heavier and longer. But if it’s power you’re after without a new valve or tank, it’s a good way to go.

Putting on a hammer with a stock valve will not make much of a difference . If you mod or change the valve to a more powerful valve you will gain more power if not I think by only changing to a heavier hammer with a stock SS valve might give you a tank dump .
