Hammer replacement help
I can’t seem to get the collar removed from the rear of the frame. I’ve removed the grub screw located under the pistol grip but the collar refuses to budge. Am I missing something? I don’t want to use too much pressure and break something.
How does it come out?

Never tried it that way pabs but will give it ago,watched that tuning dvd a bit back and done it that way since. If its just to replace the breach seals al still do it that way though rather than risk loosing zero.
If you need to get to the breach then you need to go via the bottle coller,i had the same problems as you the first time getting it out. What i ended up doing is removing the grip,trigger plate and trigger but the coller would not shift so i removed the barrel and hammer then used a dowel to ease it out then greased it. As it takes a while and not very field friendly i drilled a hole just large enugh to get the allen key in for the coller grub screw.now all i need do is remove the grip and loosen the grub screw and the collers out.
You take the breech out same way as hammer, through the front. Hold down trigger (sometimes also safety) and push breech over the sear. (Obviously after unscrewing the cocking knob)
Yeh take the barrel out and its there. I cock the gun first (no tank attached) then disassemble.

one of the earlier postings for hammer replacement gave directions for taking it out the back. I’ll go the easy way!
Jaun Pab is right taking it out towards the muzzle is the easy way! But if for some reason you want to take things apart the way your doing, there is anouther set screw under the plate that holds the trigger group in, you will have to take off your pistol grip then remove the plate that holds the trigger group and the springs then you will see another set screw on that threaded collar the air bottle screws into 😯 I had the same problem when I first tore into mine. but for general cleaning take things out the front door!! do a quick Ref on the list here on TAG you will find some good info on taking it all down to the frame if needed!

Why not take the barrel out the front and get the hammer out that way??

Good point on the zero, though I find its only a couple clicks to get back on zero (though I do have the luxury of a 40 yard range shooting from indoors, so its no big deal for me)
