Was wrong on spring. It is a 3.5″ .081″ wire and 9.4 lbs. Sorry I have tried so many springs I have to go to the catalog for the exact specs.
Century spring has a $40.00 min order unless you walk in the door. I’m going there and can get you a spring but you need to figure out what need. Springs are around $12 ea.

ive put a 75g hammer in mine and used the old hammer as the spring tensioner using the standard spring,,,,, cant get it past 570 fps 12 inch standard barrel

1000 fps would be 137.7 fpe. More like 900 fps. You can get around 920 fps with a ported condor valve. If you want a 150 fpe your going to have to have a valve like I made, 100 gr hammer and a (.078) 9 lb hammer spring. With 3200 psi fill I have gotten 917 fps for 167 fpe with Jerry’s 89.5 gr 9 rings
If you use a heavy spring alone that will not do it. But with Jerry’s 60 grain 6 Ring slugs alone you might get close if you use maxed out power wheel setting and a .12 Top hat setting.
I learned while using Tagdaggers excellent Airarcher kit that a .082 spring, the factory is .062 wire I believe, along with a heavier hammer, a different valve spring retainer and valve return spring, again Tagdagger sells an excellent one, a tapered valve seat and a RL valve stem you can indeed surpass 100 FPE with heavier slugs.
But you pay a price for that power. More air consumption, I only get 7 or 8 usable shots, a more difficult gun to shoot and more expensive ammo .
I use cast bullets, but you can buy Jerry’s slugs to do the same thing.
I can get 130 FPE with the following in a 24 inch barrel: .82 inch spring cut back to 3.5 inches, a 95 gram hammer, the Airarcher valve parts I mentioned and a RL valve stem. With all things the same in a 17 inch barrel I get 120 FPE.
With Jerry’s 60 grain 6 ring slugs you should be a little over 1000 FPS with all those mods combined.
For now you might just want to try some of his 60 grain 6 ring slugs and see how far that gets you toward your goal.

Mine is a stock condor in. 25 with 24″ barrel. I have seen posts of 120 to 150 Fpe.
I am interested in 90 to 100 FPE but with 18″ barrel.Is it possible.what mods ir tweaking is required.
what power are you at now and what are you trying to achieve? There are people making big power numbers with the stock hammer spring. There are more important things to change/tweak to increase power

I had that problem and couldn’t get over about 30FPE with a 18″ barrel even with crazy spring tension. You need a blodnob spring. I do have two and will post you one however I am at uni at the moment and won’t be back home for about 2 weeks. Don’t know if you could contact PabloUK about a blod spring or you could just contact Blobnob on the forum however he is a busy man
Just as i’m typing this, what valve have you got? If it is a standard UK valve, then you need to take it out and drill out the resituctive spring retainer.
Only do this if you have an FAC with a slot for FAC air and your gun registered.
