Q:

Hammer weight in front of or behind hammer?

Just installed my .25 barrel but I can’t remember if the weight goes in first or after the hammer. I have a Hi-Flo valve.

Thanks,

Paul

The hammer is what should be striking your breech, so the spacer/weight goes between the spring and hammer.

To be honest, you are better off with a one-piece hammer. You will get a much more consistent strike.

between hammer and spring, put it in front and itll be flopping around everywhere. i would strongly recommend a 1 piece hammer(no weight) look at the TT hammers and see what i mean. even the talon hammers weigh the same as the stock hammer+weight. also gives a means of centralising the spring as well…
