Harris Bipod on Talon???

Does anyone make an adapter that will attach a Harris bipod to a Talon?

Yes, I meant the spring loaded telescopic legs retract in, not out, not which way the legs fold up against the gun.
I think he means in the extension tube. The telescoping part. I checked Pyramyd for a 11 mm adapter to weaver a month or so ago for a m-6 laser light I have here. OUCH!! I like the Price posted here much better!

My harris legs retract outwards towards the muzzle.
I’ll have to look into that low profile adapter… looks decent, cleaner look. The only thing I don’t care for on the Harris type bipod I have is that the spring loaded legs retract in, not out, unlike the Airforce one or another barrel mount one I have for my 2250.

You can drill the plastic fore grip too, nothing that a little epoxy wouldn’t fix if you mess up and its cheap to replace if you mess it up real bad. Its plenty strong enough to support a bipod.
I drilled and tapped the lower accessory rail for a 10/32 stud. It’s permanent, but if you can manage drilling a hole in an expensive toy, IMO, it’s the best method.
I had to get a 12 pack of studs and have plenty left if thats the route you want to go.
I got this Harris style Bi-pod and stud mount at Cheaper than Dirt. Sturdy as heck and about half the price of a Harris. I found the 11mm to Weaver adapter on Ebay for 6 bucks. Looks a bit clunky, but it works. Here’s a link and pic of it. Good reviews as well. No adapter but guys are mounting them in a few different ways.
You can mount a stud on the forearm, or drill and tap the rail on gun and mount a stud. Another less permanent option is to buy the AF stud that clamps on the rail and mount the harris to that.

at one point, Harris sold their bipods with both variations, extending or retracting. Don’t know if they still do or not as the last one I bought was at least 10 yrs ago
