Q:

Has anybody noticed this on their cricket ? The clearance

between the shroud and the air tube is uneven from the back of the shroud to the front end of it. Even if i take the shroud off, the same thing applies to the clearance between the barrel and the air tube, it is like the barrel is tilting forward down, close to the muzzle ( about 15 cm before and up to the muzzle).
I have taken off the barrel and the shroud and rolled them on a glass table and they roll perfectly and they look as straight as it can be. I don’t know if it is supposed to be this way (which i doubt), or there is something wrong with my monoblock, or even with the way i reassembled the gun and tightened the screws on the monoblock ( i followed exactly Ernests instructions). I only noticed this about three days after i reassembled the gun, so i don’t know if it existed from before.
I need your help on this, guys.

Thank you again Ernest

quote sniperlabyo:

did you use the barrel alignment screw?? if so did you back the screw out before tightening down the barrel screw?? Try this loosen barrel clamp then tighten while forcing the barrel muzzle up slightly.

I did exactly the opposite as i describe in my initial post. i tightened the barrel alignment screw (which i mistakenly call tool screw) all the way dowwn. I will follow your advice and back the screw out before tightening down the barrel and force the barrel muzzle up slightly. I will report back later.
Thanks for the advice Ernest

mine is .25 also, so for sure there is something wrong, but i dont know if it is my fault or the gun came this way.

I have a .25 and mine is even.. you must have an issue..

Ask Ernest he’ll know….

ok thanks, i checked what you said but it did not make any difference. i had an idea though. could it be that when i was aligning the barrel with the tool screw i screwed it all the way in and after i tightened the screws on the monoblock with ernests procedure. i dont know if this tool screw has to be tightened all the way, or it has to sit light when i start tightening the monoblock screws . any ideas?

WOW :suprisedn: I’d try taking it out of the stock and see if the gap grows in the front ??? if it does the stock inletting for the air tube isn’t rite.
