UK laws stop you from being able to order a rifle and have it posted – all to do with violent crime.
My experience with gunpower UK had been good. Same thought process as you, if it plays up I can fix it.
To get around the postage problem and save a bit of money. Do you intend to keep the rifle standard?
If not gunpower will sell parts… Buy the frame, trigger set up and hand grip.
While you wait for it to arrive get yourself the other bits ie barrel, BN valve, bottle…

They gave me a lot of grief when tried to order parts, telling me that the guns were very complicated and just about any and all info on the forums was a waste of time and only ruined the guns.
I told the lady that I was a long time gun smith, and that she was fooling her self. These guns are Damed simple.
Long story short, they sent the parts and the gun was fixed within the hour.
She tried to convince me to send the gun in and was very rude with it. So I informed her that their workmanship and competence level wasn’t up to my standards, and if they worked for me I would fire the hole lot and start over. 😈
End of story.

m8 i live in the uk and i cant even get to talk with them gunpower are the scum of the earth i send mine to yankey land for service and repair
Drop BAR an email If they ahve taken your order. I’ve bought from them a few times and they have always been spot on with me. I’ve ordered from gunpower UK too. No point In emailing them as you get no reply but give them a ring and they will sort you out even If they are a little expensive and I found there valve heads I ordered deformed?
imposible there is a law that dont accept airgun transfer from usa to Greece

thank you but…..i try to buy from airgunbuyer.com but 15 days after my order did not take any answer do i cancel the order and i decide to order from gunpower anyway i dont care for the service because i can fix it,i care just if i can trust them my money to order from distance.i am from greece and here the same gun costs 1140 euro at the other hand all uk sites sent only fac version with anti-tamper that is problem for me.

1) I bought my gunpower storm about 2 yrs ago brand new and I started to have a few problems with her about 6 months later needless to say I sent it back on the manufactures warranty.
I don’t know about the rest of ya but parting with my rifle killed me!
so anyways I was told it would be done in a week so a week later I phone to find out how it is and it hasn’t been looked at. Ok I’m sure there just busy, I’ll give it another week. So I phone a week later an still nothing so I leave it some more time and terns out the top hat was f’ed
a quick 5 min look would have shown this. And every time I phoned I got nothing but attitude.
2) Sometime later I tried to phone them to ask for some info and no answer. I put this down to a number of reasons and tried again later that day still no answer so as an angry customer I thought Id try phoning continually for a wile then to my delight 👿 they stared to hang up the phone this went on for an hour or so and I was fuming. I knew if i did get hold of them that day I would go crazy at em so I left it till the following day,
phoned them this time with a hidden number and would you believe it, the same thing happened so I gave up.
It may not sound that bad to other people, I don’t know but from every encounter I have had with them they have been arsholes, and were ever possible I refuse to deal with them and so does everyone else in the uk 😆 check in with a uk forum and ask the same question there you wont get a very good response either.
I hope this may have helped to some degree and sorry I dont have any positives for ya.

Forgot to mention. The frame without a barrel is not a rifle. Its the barrel that makes it a rifle so it is not affected by the violent crimes act.
As for valves, you won’t get much better then a blodnob valve. Barrel wise I have a BSA and it don’t miss a beat when shooting bisley magnums.
Get your barrel and bushs made by a local gunsmith most people can give you the measurements you will need.
If you want a regulated set up you will need to buy a C02 adaptor from gunpower. They work so well with http://www.experthpa.com regulators and you should get 850fps +- with 14gr pellets on a 1400psi reg and 24″ barrel.
Also if you buy the frame and parts don’t forget the forearm grip.
I recon you are looking at around £300 for the frame, forearm grip, trigger setup, handle, C02 adaptor and all screws.
You don’t want the bushes (won’t fit a custom barrel), barrel (can’t be posted), bottle (they are cheap 2nd hand and you might not need it), valve (you get a high flow valve with the C02 adaptor)
