Has anyone recrowned the CZ barrel?
I noticed a difference of accuracy after a DIY recrown job. Now it is shooting a single hole at least at 23 yards. Just want to check whether this is abnormal. From the lack of crowning discussions here, I am guessing this is an exception to the rule.

You’ve got the most accurate barrel in existence…and you ask if anyone has modified it? Why?

On youtube “freemanshooting” recrowned his barrel. Look him up, I think he did something like 11 degree crowning

When I shot the Mutant 2 Sundays ago, it wasn’t shooting very accurately at 23 yards. I could see the JSB Jumbo Express pellets spraying a little. 5-shot groups were nickel-sized and not exactly what I was expecting. The gun was on a versapod (pretty solid support) and I was sitting on a stool.
After recrowning, I tested the gun again at 23 yards but this time standing and using a Deadshot Fieldpod (the big one). Now we are getting .18″ CTC groups of 5 shots.
