Has anyone sleeved there breech ?
I have been using one of Dougs valves and have been wondering about sleeving the stock breech. I figured if you reduce the diameter and sleeve it with metal or carbon fiber tube it will increase its strength. I have a lathe but dont have the experience to machine whole new breech.What do you guys think ?

OK, Good to know. I just dont want to chance a breech blowing up in my face. What psi do you put in your tank. I use 4500 paintball tanks and Im not sure how high I can go. I locked up a blodnob valve by going to 4500 but I realize your valves can put out alot more air.
I did it with my old .308 because the hole thru it is .430″ and makes the wall thinner.
I haven’t had any problems with any breech I have made. Only a breech from AF blew up on me.
My .25 was delrin when it was making 170 fpe.
.257 is .375″ hole and it is delrin also.
Hard to beat delrin for strength and how good it slides.
I do have a aluminum breech on my new .308 but you don’t cook it with the breech. Just open and shut to load.
