Hatsan PCP rifles?
I just got an email from airgun depot about their sale items. Some of the deals are on Hatsan PCP rifles. All are 9 shot repeaters I think, and I have never heard of them. Does anybody here know anything about them? They are fairly cheap, around $500. I sometimes think about getting a .25 barrel for me talon SS but then I realize I could spend only a little more and get a second rifle in 25 instead.

Due to the nature of ecomony models, like Hatsan PCPs (BT65 and AT44), internal mechnical parts are made rough, from trigger to hammer. I always disassemble and make smooth finish, specially casted hammer area has to be smooth, in order to eliminate irregular shots. (Somethimes, you will notice irregular orbit shot due to rough finish.) Otherwise, good buy.

Kazz,I have seen .177 stock m-rod shoot excellent scores and the .25@100yds
shoot sub moa w/a little finess.Crosman provides excellent service.
I have a .22 w/LW that is very accurate. There are many mods avail.

Oh yea airguns! 😳
Lots of fun, because plinking or other stuff with a accurate as hell edgun is not fun =D
No, give me a high power spring airgun with lots of recoil and open sights, back to basics.. if you can shoot good with that, that’s fun!
ps. for prices, check these guys, you will not find cheaper!!! AND already a LOT of people from EU ordered from them without any probs:
I have RWS 350 spring rifle for fun shooting aswell.
This is how Hatsan 44-10 should look like:

I’m even thinking buying a .25 spring air gun again!

Well, you got me bit wrong.
Both Hatsan and Benjamin Marauder are good for newcomers to PCP system. To learn how that works and figure out if u’re interested in airguns or not. But buy it as a second/third arigun, I just don’t see any point in this.
After full upgrade only receiver and trigger left.

That’s with almost every non regulated airgun..
It’s ok for the money, not for serious competition shooting, but ok for backyard and hunting.
I had my own PCP without regulator, and believe me I had a stable power curve with +-5 m/s speed jumps for 65 shots. It’s all about hammer stability and proper springs at valve and hammer. And it took me 300$ to build it.
Also, beloved here Edguns, first versions were without regulator and still had pretty straight power curve.
Its all about build quality.

Dankgus,
I have an AT 44 (side lever .22) carbine with a select walnut stock, ldc, practically brand new (only fired a few times). I am selling it for 400.00 shipped to the CONUS so if your interested, let me know. And the barrel is very accurate!

hmmm… why is a Benjamin Marauder so popular?
It is NOT more accurate then a Hatsan. So, …?
Basically, you can see the hatsan or hamerli as a Mrod. Some tuning needed to perform a bit better, finish is the same, except that the Hatsan is more a robust look and feel.
Power curve can me fixed to normal even with Hatsan, but it takes money, time, and requiers decent skills.
Why do we love airguns? Bcoz of accuracy. Who needs an airgun without accuracy?

PCP Hatsan 44-10 costs about 400$ and its popular airgun. Barrels come with random quality, some are good and some are awful. Reservoir is made of steel which adds weight, and makes it vulnerable to rust. Power curve looks like banana.
There are Hatsans that shoot not bad.. They will never be the most accurate airguns, but for the price ok.
The hatsans that not shoot bad are the ones with LW barrels. They are ok.
Hatsans are basically Hammerli, better known for you US?
Needs a lot of tuning to make them shoot well.
Also, Hatsan barrels are such a lottery of quality.
