Q:

Have You Tried .22?

I know the valve is designed for .25, but I was wondering if any TalonP owners have stuck a 12 inch .22 barrel in it and seen how it performed?

I haven’t but I did put a 24″ .20 cal barrel on my TalonP -dumped the whole tank in one go!! Talk about recoil!! Scope smacked me right in the face.

Spoke to Airforce right after, apparently, you’d have to send the tank to them to tune the valve.

It worked fine on Co2 if the power was turned down, love the accuracy and consistency of the .20 cal -but you can’t beat the knockdown power of a .25.

To me the TalonP is not really a pistol…

There are fairly high powered pistols that will shoot like a pistol and feel like one… Such as this:

sounds like a plan. i have been tossing around the idea of getting a higher powered pistol in 22, i have 177 handguns, just enough power for close head shots on small game, need more power for longer shots etc, the marauder pistol is calling my name, and i have looked at the Talon P also.

M pistol has built in shroud also and is a repeater, bolt on a aim point and your good.i do allot of handgun shooting , and the air handguns makes for good practice

i like the idea of the talon p, but by the time you shroud it it would be allot to shoot two handed, maybe it would work out , don’t know, most turn these into carbines

Well, I do not see me getting one myself. I was just curious. I am fixing to sell off enough of my toys to get a Talon SS. I could see me picking up a TalonP tank/valve setup in the future.

Well i havent, and i dont have one, but i can tell you that it would be waisting allot of air because it will be set up for the heavier 25 pellets, but you could more than likely be able to adjust it down and make it work with 22 just fine.

Really? Nobody?
