hawke 25MOA mount inserts 30 mm
In stalled the 25 MOA Hawke Mount inserts on my 22 Cricket just for grins,
I thought since I was raising the back of the scope the gun would shoot lower, Nope it shot about a foot higher?

I got to re set the trigger, Its not a hair trigger, Its a cunt hair trigger,

Say you locked the gun in a vise so it couldn’t move. Then sighted the scope so that point of aim and point of impact were the same spot.
Then if you raised the back of the scope up you would be looking at a point of aim that was lower than the point of impact. In effect that would be raising your point of impact. Maybe you want to try it the other way around?

It was two inserts a front and back, But you could tell the back insert was thicker,
Now my little brain looked at it like a pencil, You move the back up, and the front goes down, and you shoot down,,
Now a scope is not a pencil, So there is something else going on,
I will go back to scope 101 and get educated :rofl:

You raise the back of your glass it should move poi up… Biggest problem is the front ring can kink to tube of the glass if not done right. You really need the corresponding and for both rings to keep from kinking the tube as you tighten the caps down…
Have a good look-see at your rings and mounting. Both rings should have the correct moa for each ring to have the scope nice and relaxed flat across the 2 rings, reguardless of the MOA you have the glass looking! 🙂
