Optics planet has the Hawke Tactical 4026 for under $300 out the door with free shipping.
Optics planet is in Illinois so I had to pay sales tax, my total was $322.98 shipped.
Damn good deal for a nice scope.

Prices are back to normal now. When I bought mine it said 7 available. Today it is showing 4, so not many people jumped on it. I wonder which scope was most popular that some are getting calls about back-ordered.

There was a difference until the latest generation of the SR 30 Sidewinders came out with the new SR Pro reticles I was told by Hawke Optics in IN. That is why I never bought an old SR 30. The new ones have been out for over a year now. Now they are on par with the Tactical’s that were also redesigned a few years back.
I bought three HK4017s for $431 w/ free shipping each this year and thought I had gotten a good deal. 😳 The last time Hawke discounted like this was when the new Sidewinder Tactical’s were coming out and they cleared out the old ones. Either that or OP has a boat load of them but I only see 4 left of the HK4017s…. 😯
Maybe they feel they have to match the Aeon’s? Who knows.
Is there a difference in quality between tactical and non tactical? First time buying a Hawke.
